Music for Moms Concert RELAX WITH A MUSICAL MOMENT JUST FOR YOU--OR CELEBRATE MOM (AND DAD) WITH US!
Richmond Youth Concert Band & Richmond Elementary Honour Band proudly present Music for Moms concert to celebrate Mother's Day.

The Richmond Youth Concert Band (known as the RYCB) is located in Richmond. Established in 1978, it is an auditioned ensemble of secondary school students from Richmond.

The RYCB has a history of involvement with the local community, most recently through our partnership with the Richmond Food Bank and annual concerts at Gilmore United Church and Music For Moms.

The RYCB sponsors the Richmond Elementary Honour Band (also known as the REHB). Our mission is to provide quality band music education and performance opportunities for our members.

Join us on Monday, May 13th at 7:00pm for a concert presented by the Richmond Youth Concert Band and Richmond Elementary Honour Band at the Gateway Theatre. Beauty and the Beast Jr. with Pleasant Mountain Music Pleasant Mountain Music introduces their inaugural year of their Musical Theatre Ensemble, performing Beauty and The Beast Jr. at Gateway Studio B.

Once upon a time in a faraway land, an enchantress turns a cruel, unfeeling prince into a hideous beast. To break the spell, the beast must learn to love the beauty and earn her love in return before the last petal falls from an enchanted rose.

Into the Woods Step into a world where fairy tales collide, and wishes come with a price. Join Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, Rapunzel, and the Baker and his Wife as they venture into the enchanted forest in pursuit of their wishes. But beware, for in the woods, nothing is quite as it seems. With a Tony-Award winning score by Stephen Sondheim and a captivating story by James Lapine, this musical will leave you spellbound! 'Into the Woods' is a comical satire and musical masterpiece that explores the consequences of our desires. Join us as the RCS Band and Theatre department join forces with the RCS Middle Campus dancers, singers and “builders” to create a unique and captivating experience.
